I recently retired my AirPort Extreme wifi router and replaced it with a Linksys AX6000.
The old wifi network was named 'Apple Wireless' and used IP range 10.0.1.x.
I named the new network 'Wireless' and it uses IP range 192.168.1.x.
All my devices reconnected to the new network without a problem, except my Roku 2 and Roku 4 boxes.
I get the green check for Wireless connection, but a red X for Internet connection with error 009.
After hours of Google searching and troubleshooting not getting me anywhere, I turned on logging on the new Linksys router and this is what I see:
What this looks like is -
I've tried reset network settings, I've tried factory reset, but nothing I do will make those Roku boxes give up the IP addresses they used to use on the old network.
Anybody have any suggestions?
I thought about just changing the IP range of my new network, but apparently Linksys hardcodes to 192.168.x.x. 😞
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Well, as Murphy's law would dictate, I almost immediately discovered the solution after posting.
I still have my AirPort Extreme connected via the wire to my new router so I can continue to use it as a NAS for Time Capsule.
I disabled its wireless, and I thought I changed the Router Mode to Off, but I had left it on DHCP and NAT. So, I had 2 DHCP servers running on my network.
Ddddduuuuuuhhhhhhh.
Roku is connected and happy.

Thank you for posting your solution, even if it was a 'stoopid' mistake.
Ditto. Will no doubt be useful to others experiencing a similar problem as possible issue to check. Many people forget to unplug their old router after installing a new one.
