My roku express is not connecting to my wifi. It finds it and when I put in my password it says I need to restart my device and my router. I have been doing it for 2 days now and it still is not working. I even switched tvs and roku devices.

Problem may have been caused by a recent update from Xfinity to many Xfinity-supplied routers:
Xfinity users report the router configuration needs to be switched back to b/g/n security.
This is a recurrring problem for me too. Someone else in this community suggested deactivating the subscription then reactivating it. I tried that and it worked - i was able to enjoy the Roku channels that day. the next day I had to go through the same steps. This is not acceptable - but it worked twice. So every day I have to deactivate and reactive may account!!! Yesterday, that practice did not work. I am really frustrated and wonder what is wrong. The system says that my connection is Excellent. My connection is excellent but Roku is awful. You know there's something inherently wrong when Roku not connecting to Xfinity wifi" is an option on the trouble shooting list. FIX THE PROBLEM ROKU.
The exact thing is happening to both our TVs with Roku. Says no internet connection. Even though it lists our internet as Excellent strength. We also have Xfinity internet. Tried many times to restart Roku and Xfinity box.
