I just moved into this apartment and all of my phones computers and a smart TV hooked up to my Wi-Fi fine. I bought a Roku Express for my non-smart TV and when I try to get it to connect to the Wi-Fi I can see the Wi-Fi but when I enter the password it won't connect.
Hi @TAMiller
Thanks for letting us know about the issue you're experiencing.
Could you tell us if you are getting an error code or message? Refer to this link for common Roku error codes and their recommended actions: What should I do if I cannot connect to my home network or the internet?
Furthermore, since you own a Roku Express, please note that they are only compatible with wireless b/g/n networks on the 2.4 GHz spectrum. Ensure that your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for the device to connect to.
Keep us posted on how it goes!
All the best,
Kariza

Keep in mind it could be a newer Express - an Express 4K - which are in fact dual-band.
You'd want to verify that model # first before giving such advice...
I actually saw another similar post with a suggestion to use my phone's hot spot to get the Roku up and running and then go back and switch to my router WIFI. This was successful.
