There are some cable modems that have an "issue" with Roku devices. On the 2.4 GHz radio in the modem, there is a Mode setting. Many cable companies are setting the modem to only use Mode G/N. While in theory that should be just fine, for some unknown reason (but it's something in the modem firmware) Roku devices can't connect to it. The solution is to change the Mode to B/G/N. So that's the first place to check. It's possible that Spectrum will need to make the change. In my Comcast modem, they have me locked out of changing the setting myself.
