Roku Premier and Roku Streaming Stick + will not connect to my wireless network. I have tried all tips possible: restarting system and router, moving both devices high without anything blocking them. My network appears with excellent signal strength, so I'm not why it's not connecting?
Exactly what do you mean by not connect? Will it connect to the WiFi but doesn't show Internet access? Can it connect to the WiFi at all? Do they even see your SSID? What model Premiere? Is your 2.4 GHz radio enabled in your router/access point?
I am having same problem . Needed to move router to another room for carpet cleaning . Now one of my ROKU’s won’t work . Says Status not connected but sing along strength excellent! Our other one in another room is working , un plugged and restarted with no luck
I am having the same problem. It started Sunday, when I turned off my router. I've followed all the roku and router manufacturer instructions, tested with other routers, changed SSIDs and even used another ROKU. Nothing worked. ROKU shows wireless signal strength is good. Connecting fails with 14.40 error message from ROKU after password is entered. (Yes, password is correct, I even changed it once for a test -- didn't work). I followed all the trouble shooting instructions from ROKU, not working.
Nothing is working to resolve the problem and now I have not had TV for several days.
Well got mine to connect , after doing the setting up wireless connection and trying 15-20 times !
