Roku device not seeing iPhone hotspot has internet.

Roku worked for a couple years fine off my iPhone hotspot. Suddenly it says internet speed is too low and won’t load Netflix or Prime Video (other streaming apps work OK). iPhone hotspot testing shows 13 meg speeds yet Roku testing shows <1 meg and won’t load those two apps. I can watch other channels and movies without buffering… only Netflix and Amazon Video apps refuse to load. WTH?? 
All resetting has been done, factory reset on Roku, cell phone reset (tried other cell phone hotspots too). NOTHING has worked after dozens and dozens of various resets… even bought new Roku device, same problem on new device.

Thanks for the inquiry.

Try removing the channels from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channels back once more.

Does this clear up the issue you are seeing? Please keep us posted.

Unfortunately nothing worked… it’s still thinking that speed is “<1 mbps” …
