Roku Ultra - internet connectivity issues... coinciding with recent update?

My Roku Ultra seems to now have extremely unreliable internet connection within the past week (I can't pinpoint the exact date but definitely more issues starting two days ago). It seems to coincide with a 10.5 system update?

The issue is all of the apps will time-out and complain about not having network connection on load screen. After fiddling for over an hour with this, I eventually got it to play some HBO max for 5 minutes, then lost connection again.

If I go to "setup connection", I can connect to the router and get the green check in 'connect to wifi' and 'connect to internet'. It gets an IP address from DHCP and I can see RokuUltra connected in my router's device list.

But if I immediately go to "check connection" afterwards, it will often fail at "internet connection" and sometimes fail at "wireless connection".

Resetting the Roku doesn't help (either through menu or just unplugging power). Resetting the router doesn't help. All my other home devices have no issues with the router. This issue seems specific to the Roku and only in the past week.

I’m having the same issue. It says my internet is connected but every single app will say there is no internet connection.

I eventually did a factory reset, which seems to have fixed it for me.
