Hello! @bluea12,

Thank you for posting in the Roku Community!

Connecting to the internet is important for your Isignia Roku TV to function, particularly when utilizing an ethernet connection. We're happy to help.

It looks like that it will require some assistance from our friends at our hardware partner support to help diagnose your TV hardware. Each TV manufacturer provides direct support for their TV models.

You can find their support options here Insignia Support or at 1-877-467-4289

Re: Roku Ultra- Wired Connection - Error Code 012 Not Connected

Hi bluea12 -

I hope you have better luck establishing a wired connection with your Roku device(s) than I did. I have two Roku Ultras. One I use wirelessly and the other is offline not being used. I jumped through all the hoops Roku suggested (see previous posts) before I gave up. Nothing would establish a wired connection. IMHO (34 years experience in electronics, programming, and cyber security) Roku pushed some sort of an update (software/firmware) to the Ultra boxes that disabled the ability to connect through the ethernet port on the Roku Ultra. Since their release of the Roku Ultra 2024 I am fairly convinced they did. I would like to see a copy of their software/firmware code to verify this but that will never happen. I went so far as to test my Roku Ultra on another ISP in a town 40 miles away and it still would not connect through the ethernet port. You would think a brand name company would provide at a discount price the ability to trade in the old Roku Ultra for the new Roku Ultra 2024... Or at least send a new one to test - maybe the new version does not connect either. If you want to go full WIFI, say so and be done with it don't jerk your customers around.

Good luck! I can't offer you any hope.
