hello, had and still have same issue, but have figured it out for the most part, not sure its fully fixable, but with more info others might figure something out. the problem is with certain devices. no problems using my nord one plus 5g phone but revvl 5g phone connects but no internet did the network reset on revvl phone and it worked again, but then no 5g only 4glte on phone. they just upgraded the tower to 5g and the change had no effect in logging in with the 5g on roku tv with my one plus nord 5g phone, but revvl 5g phone connects but no internet. it will not connect to roku in 5g mode. i tried changing channels and other settings, but in 5g wont work. so the only fix that works is right below roamming options in my revvl 5g network settings was a option to change phone from 5g/3g/2g to just 3g/2g then turn hotspot off then back on and roku connects to phone again. on your phone itself you will see that it will bo longer show you connected to 5g but back to 4glte. when done with hotspot just switch it back to 5g. dont know why it works still with 5g on my one plus nord 5g phone, but revvl 5g will only connect to roku if its not in 5g mode. once you know were to go to switch its a quick switch from 5g to 3g/2g and back to 5g when done with hotspot. and yes 4g 4glte works when in 3g/2g. was no option for 4g/ 4glte. hope this helps! problem seems to be with just certain phones, ang the tower upgrades to 5g.? reset worked on revvl 5g because it turned off 5g and made no choices for what speeds, but default with bo choices 4glte was what worked on the revvl 5g. so try desabling 5g on your phone back to 2g/3g and maybe this will work for you also. let me know! thanks!
