Hello community,

My Roku express is not finding my newly installed Xfinity home WiFi AT ALL. Even if I select "private network" and input the correct data, my home WiFi doesn't exist to my Roku Express.

• Yes, my WiFi was installed correctly
• Yes, my WiFi works seamlessly for all my other devices
• Yes, my Roku Express has the latest updates
• Yes, I restarted my Roku multiple times
• Yes, my Roku works with other WiFi such as my T-Mobile hotspot and my iPhone
• Yes, my Roku instantly finds all my neighbors' WiFi devices

Is your Xfinity WiFi router operating on 2.4 GHz? Some new installations may be set up as 5 GHz only. If you don't have a 2.4 GHz network, your Roku Express won't connect, since the Express is 2.4 GHz only.

And, if it is using 2.4 GHz (many networks use both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), ensure it's on channel 1, 6, or 11.
