Roku Express + 2021

Every time I turn on this new roku (purchased 5 days ago), it states it’s not connected to my wifi.  It is connected to my tv via hdmi, and plugged in to an outlet. Why does it keep losing connection? It’s on the verge on being returned…

It's hard to say, but if your router's Wi-Fi channel is set to "Auto", try setting it to a particular channel.  1, 6, or 11 are often recommended, but it really doesn't matter (unless everyone avoids all the other channels).

There’s no way it could be my router.  No other device in my home loses connection, much less on a daily basis.  When I restart it (upon roku’s prompt), it works fine…so why the hiccup?
It needs an update.  Luckily,  amazon has a 30 day return policy.

Thanks for the posts.

Have you tried the troubleshooting step that @renojim has provided in his previous post regarding changing the channel on your router to see if that resolves the issue?
