Pudiste resolver el problema? tengo el mismo error, quise restaurar mi ROKU EXPRESS a modo fabrica y cuando fui a ingresar mi nueva cuenta no me llega ningún mensaje a mi correo, después de intentarlo 5 veces me arroja el "error code 001" y posteriormente me llega el mensaje al correo pero ya no puedo vincularlo debido a que me arrojó el error en la TV .
Ya lo intente con la cuenta que tenia anteriormente y sigue sin llegar.

I have spent hours now on 2 different nights trying to activate my roku account. I get to the part where it sends me an activation link to my email. I click on the link go thru the entire process until it states "done" and then my tv gives me Error code 001, do you want to try again. I have completed this cycle so many times I want to throw my computer through the tv.
What can I do? I set up one for my grandson about 4 months ago and had no problems. I have tried unplugging everything, resetting everything. It just keeps doing the same flipping thing! I am using a hotspot and it tells me on my box and on the tv that the signal is very strong.
