ROKU cannot maintain signal strength

my roku device needs to be have its connection reset every 30 minutes or so. it is not an internet issue but something to do with the device. when i power the roku on, the signal strength is fair. So I reboot, no connection issues and the signal goes to excellent. After a few minutes the device freezes and I need to reboot again. My other 3 ROKU devices work fine, it is just this one that appears to be faulty. Any suggestions?

What's the model number shown under Settings->System->About?  If it's a Roku model that uses a USB power adapter make sure you're using the supplied power adapter and not your TV's USB port.
