Hello! I have a Roku streaming stick 3600, everything was working fine until my remote control stopped working, I downloaded the app and continue to use my device as always, but two days ago I had a problem with my wifi, had to change the password and of course re-connect in every device I own, but, since I don't have any working remote control it won't let me reconnect on my Roku device, and can't do it from the app because in order to work needs to be connected in the same wifi connection than the streaming stick, I'm becoming desperate because I can't use my Roku, for the moment I can't buy a new remote control, so I'm posting here in case anyone can help me out, I'll be very grateful if someone has a solution to this, thanks in advance!
The only thing you can do is switch everything back the way it was. There's no way to connect to a new Wi-Fi without a physical remote.
The Voice Remote devices will work with the Sticks. They are $20 or $30 depending on the features. For that old device, go with the $20 one. You can find them at Walmart, Target, Best Buy, etc. Or order online from Roku, Amazon, or other locations.
Keep in mind that by the time you pay $20 for a remote, you could pay a bit more and get a brand new, much improved, faster Streaming Stick+

I have a serious problem and we need to get this corrected. We will be watching a program and all of a sudden the screen jumps to another app, either peacock or discovery or another channel. It will then bounce around and we recieve messages saying it does not understand. We do not have a remote with alexa or any voice commands and yet we get comments up in the right hand corner. We have to literally shut the television off and wait several minutes until things calm down. This happens EVERY day! Not only that but when watching a program on peacock it gets stuck and then we have to go out of the program and resume watching. This is so aggravating!!! What do we do? Answer me or I am getting rid of roku. hismomma@att.net
I dont want advice on voice remote, I want to know why this roku jumps all over going to all these different apps like peacock and discovery and other channels in the middle of a program I am watching!
