My Roku has never had issues. Our power went out last night and all of a sudden the Roku won't connect to our wifi network anymore. I have restarted the internet and the Roku. And just factory reset the Roku and now I can't login because it still won't connect. What do I do?
Chances are the router has chosen an incompatible wireless channel after being rebooted due to the power outage.
If you know how to access your router's admin panel by either logging in or using their app, verify that the router under "Wireless Settings" is using channels 1-11 for the 2.4 ghz band and channels 36-48 or 149-161 for the 5ghz band.
Alternatively, you can try repeatedly restarting your router to attempt to toggle a wireless channel change but manually assigning the channel is best route.
Post back with your router model number, your ISP (internet) provider, and your Roku device model number if you need more help.
Okay I contacted my internet provider. And I did deactivate the Roku from my router. But it's still not connecting.... So what do I do now?
