Hi. I moved into my winter condo yesterday and am trying to set up my Roku. There are 2 wifi network choices... one for renters, one that the owners use. As a guest, I only have access to the guest network. My laptop, as well as 3 different mobile phones are finding both the guest and owner networks. The Roku is only finding the owner's network. It will not locate the guest wifi network I am needing to login to. I have tried restarting the modem twice, the Roku unit multiple times, repeatedly re-scanninhg to find more networks and trying to manually enter the guest network... all without success. Any help and guidance is appreciated.
Thank you.
Most likely the guest network is using a channel that Roku doesn't support. On 2.4GHz, Roku only supports channels 1-11, so if they are set on 12, 13 or 14 you won't see it at all. If they offer 5GHz WiFi, and you have a Roku with a dual band radio, there are still some channels that Roku can't see except for the latest Roku players (the ones using the latest Realtek chipset). Those unusable channels are from 49-148. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do except ask the WiFi manager to adjust the channels their access points use.

What Roku model and model number does it report when you go to Settings/System/About? This will tell us what this unit's WiFi capabilities/limitations are so that you can be given more targeted advice.
