No signal, live stream stops every 19 seconds, NO SIGNAL BOX is displayed for 19 seconds, returns.

Hello, my tv has suddenly started to drop the signal. Every 29 seconds or so the live stream will stop and I get 2 notification boxes. 1 says NO TIME INFORMATION and the second on says, NO SIGNAL (1) Check the cable connections and the settings of your source device. (2) Press SOURCE on your remote to select connected source device. This lasts for about 19 seconds, and then goes back to live stream for another 29 seconds, and then repeats the whole process all over again. Any ideas?

@Lba2bd

A live stream? What app? Pluto TV? Sling TV? YouTube TV? Fubo? Roku Channel? Hulu+Live TV? We need more information about what app you're using. Additionally the device model number may impact the solution, so provide that, as well as the Roku OS version. Settings > System > About

It occurs with ANY apps through Roku. Even when I haven’t selected an app and it’s simply on the home page. The model is 4200X - Roku 3, and the version is 10.0.0. Build 4209-04.
thanks, hope that helps

This sounds to me like the HDMI connection between the Roku and the TV is being dropped for some reason.   The lack of connection is discovered and a new HDMI connection is negotiated (this is called a "handshake") bringing the connection back, but then it gets dropped again.

You might try replacing the HDMI cable between the TV and Roku in case that is the problem.

If the problem is at the Roku's end, perhaps a Roku system restart will fix it, just like restarting a computer can cure all manner of ills.  Roku menu path: Settings > System > System restart > Restart.

If the problem is at the TV's end, you might be able to avoid it by connecting to a different HDMI port on the TV, if the set has more than one HDMI port.

Thank you very much for the suggestion. It definitely does act like a ‘handshake’ type of situation. I did try replacing the HDMI cable, but unfortunately that did not correct the problem. But interestingly enough, even when I had All the HDMI cable’s disconnected, I still got the same warning boxes spontaneously appear. Makes me wonder if my TV is going south? Anyhow, thanks again for the help!!
