Losing connection DAILY.

This is insane. Does not matter if I connect to 5G or 2.4. I am tech savvy and work with computer daily. Roku stick (with headphone jack from best buy). Your company cannot keep thinking customers are dumb and placing blame on routers or internet connectivity. Every morning it disconnects! When this happen, it will not connect what so ever until my whole modem and router is rebooted. In addition, my remote will stop working...I guess it uses internet protocol. So aggravated. Going back to firestick. Any advice apart from rebooting daily would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Losing connection DAILY.

If you're using your TV's USB port to power it, don't do that.  Use the supplied power adapter and leave it powered on at all times.  If your router is using "Auto" for its channel, pick a fixed channel and stick with it.  Note that 5GHz DFS channels won't work and, if you're not in the US, stick with 2.4GHz channels 1 to 11.  I've found that Rokus work best if everything is static - use a DHCP reservation in your router and don't use "Auto" for your Wi-Fi channel which can change the channel at any time.
