I used to have my Roku TV connected to my mobile hotspot for months and it worked great. But for some reason now it won't connect. I've even made sure my mobile data was set on 2.4 and not the 5.0. I've restarted both my Roku TV and my mobile device and it still won't connect. I had no problems before. Why won't it work now?

It didn't work. I turn my hotspot on and it says there is 1 device connected and Roku is the only thing I've had connected to my hotspot. But it won't connect when I put in my password even after it says 1 device connected. What do I do???

I'm having this same issue. The hotspot always worked before with my Rokus but now both of my Roku devices connect to my hotspot but cannot connect to the Internet (error code 009). The strength is "excellent". I am able to connect other devices to my hotspot. I have contacted my phone service and they have verified this is an issue with Roku devices only. I have tried everything your website says to do. This problem doesn't happen with my husband's phone.
@Ronlala, are you using any kind of ad-blocking or other security software on your phone?
