I have a premier that consistently shows low Internet download speeds on Wi-Fi. My Wi-Fi connection is 600 Mb per second. All other devices on my network show consistently high download speeds. I’ve even swapped my Roku stick plus in the same location and it shows triple the speed of my premier. Same Internet same location lower speed. Please advise

What's "low"?  You're never going to get 600Mbps out of a Roku.  If you're not having trouble streaming then there's no reason to look at the speed.

Rokus are designed for real time streaming of programs over the internet.  When streaming you are not downloading huge files at once where you'd like as high a speed as possible.  Streams are doled out a section at a time, at the rate needed to display them.  Few, if any, require speeds over about 25 Mbps and most are far less. As a result Roku devices are only equipped with net systems capable of 100 Mbps, and with net overhead they typically max out around 75-80.  This is more than adequate for the single stream at a time they are asked to handle.

The much greater speed your internet service provides allows you to run many devices and applications at a time, some of which really can use the higher speed available to them, each of which likely uses only a fraction of your available bandwidth.

Low is 9-15 Mbps.  When I connect my stick plus I see 45 to 60 MBps.  I didn’t expect to see 600 but I did expect to say something along the same lines as the stick class

I went into the secret menus. Specifically the wireless secret menu. The Premier shows that it could have two antennas but only one is active. Antenna to a showing zero. The connection comes up as excellent in the 35 to 60 range in that menu but when I check it on the front end menu it comes up much lower. Like 9 to 15. When I do the same with the Roku stick and the numbers are more consistent and I don’t have as many buffering issues as I do with the Premier

What's the model number of the Premiere?  If it's 3920 I have one that's complete garbage.

I'm not surprised.  I've seen plenty of reports here of 3920s that overheat and/or have terrible Wi-Fi reception.

Do they ever offer to replace them? I’d be up for a replacement or something similar and less problematic

My 3920 works flawlessly, so I would more suspect a defective player. Remember that the 3920 only has a single band (2.4 GHz) radio, so that second antenna display in the hidden menu might not accurately reflect the hardware within the player. 

I can say the Express 4K+ is also a solid player. It has dual band radios, and has more processing power and storage than the 3920. I'm traveling this week and I'm using one on my hotel TV. Even with only about 6 Mbps connection speed, I'm watching Dirty Harry on HBO Max right now.
