I got a message saying my Roku would no longer work?what does this mean?

My Roku says it’s out of date and no longer works. Does this mean my tv is too old or do I have to buy a new Roku. Or Both?

Re: I got a message saying my Roku would no longer work?what does this mean?

I think you'll need to supply the full message text and the context for people to help.  Context includes: when did the message appear - in some specific channel/app, or on the Roku homescreen? What is the Roku model number (4 digit number please, not a name like "Express" since names like that are often reused on multiple models.)

If the message didn't refer to the TV then the TV is probably OK.

Banned but back. Because why not?
