Can you please tell me how to update the isp for my Roku device. Switching from at&t to Xfinity.
An ISP change shouldn't involve your account at all. Assuming you've changed to a new router, the easiest thing to do is to set it up with the same SSID and passphrase as the previous router and just let all of your devices connect like they always have.
Otherwise, do a factory reset, and set the Roku to the new SSID and passphrase, then when it reactivates, just link it to your existing account. (ie: sign into that account - if your're not already - before clicking on the link that they email to you.)

My recommendation is don't do a Factory reset unless you absolutely have to. After a factory reset you have to set you Roku back up as though it were a brand new unit right out of the box. If you have a lot of channels that have to be logged into or authenticated with a tv provider, recovering from a Factory reset can be a lot of daunting work. If all you need to do is change your network connection parameters (SSID and password) so you can connect to your existing Roku account over a new network a Factory reset is overkill.
Just go to Settings > Network > Set up connection and connect to your new network. I take a Roku from home when I go to my timeshare and that's all I need to do to change my network connection.
I am looking to update the wireless connection because sometimes the connection is lost while working on Roku and other times the connection speed is so fast that something which requires very high speed like uploading my articles becomes a matter of minutes.
