Hello,
Bought a Hisense U6GR5 in January. It worked great with my Google WiFi when I first bought it. Excellent network connection and speed. The AP is less than 10 feet away.
I also have a Firestick 4k plugs into the TV that works great. Strong signal, great pq.
Recently, maybe due to a Feb 3rd update, wifi performance on the TV iself is terrible. The connection info says I'm getting 4Mbps on wifi.. if I plug in an Ethernet cable, I get 193Mbps.
My wifi shouldn't be drastically different than my wired, especially with such a nearby access point. And like I said, the Firestick plugged into the back has a great connection.
Anyone else having wifi issues with their Hisense TVs (or other brands)?
Haven't seen your avatar around here much lately ...
This has worked for me to re-establish my net connection when it is not performing well:
If that doesn't fix it, try disconnecting the power to your Roku for a few seconds. When it comes back up, see if you then can set up the network connection.
Thanks, but I'm not having problems connecting.. I'm having problems getting a fast wireless connection. Wired, i can get a great, 200mbps connection...wireless? The TV network info says I'm getting 4Mbps.
As I said in my original post, I'm getting GREAT speeds from the wireless connection on the firestick that's plugged into the Hisense TV.
I don't believe I was having speed issues when I first got the TV, which makes me believe that possibly, an update in early February broke something.
