Help! Roku wont connect to remote or wifi in one spot, but will everywhere else

Roku Streaming Stick + won't connect to remote or wifi in one spot in our house.  

- 3 other Roku SS+'s in the house work fine

- tried it elsewhere, the problem device connects to wifi fine, remote pairs fine

- unplugged nearby SS+'s to avoid interference; doesn't help

- upgraded WIFI from ~50MBPS to ~200MBPS in that location, still doesn't work

- my phone and other wifi devices work fine in that location (at ~50 and ~200)

- bought a new SS+, same problem

Please help! I've contacted Roku corporate support on multiple occasions, and no answer....

If it doesn't work in one particular location and even the remote wont connect then there's something else in that location that's causing interference.  I don't know if it will help, but have you tried the HDMI extender?
