Hi everyone. I bought a Roku Streaming Stick 4K at Walmart. I followed the instructions on the box, but when choosing a Wi-Fi network to connect to, it throws me an Error 009, the device connects to my modem but has no internet connection. I thought the problem was my Internet connection, but on my cell phone and on my laptop I do have an Internet connection. It is worth mentioning that my network is divided into a 2.4 GHz network and a 5GHz network, I tried to connect to both networks, but neither worked. I tried various solutions that I saw on the internet (resetting the Roku Stick to factory settings, restarting my modem, restarting my Roku Stick, disabling pinging in the Roku secret menu, etc.) but none of those solutions worked for me.
My ISP is an Xfinity Prepaid Internet in Illinois USA, but as I mentioned earlier, Wifi works on cell phones and laptops.
Hope someone can help me connect my Roku Stick to my Wifi network. I attach photographs of the error that appears on the screen.
Try using your phone's hotspot if possible and connect to that just to get through the initial setup. There's also a known problem with Xfinity supplied routers that may or may not be coming into play. Try setting the wireless mode to b/g/n from g/n:
