I'm 82 and fairly technical but can't figure out what to do since this upgrade. I can't get out of the take a look screen. I have no connection or ability to use my Roku device.. Any suggestions?
I need help I don't pay for these connections for their bottom line rather for my entertainment, and the current upgrade has decidedly affected my ability to be entertained. Since I can't leave the page that requires me to take a look. Ande

Unplug the power (not the HDMI cable) for several seconds and plug it back in.
Had something similar happen this morning to both Roku devices in the house.
it just lost connection and went to the Home Screen. Won’t respond to the remote app. Won’t respond to the actual remote
unplugged the power for a few seconds and turned it back on. Reset router too
they both come back on just fine. But again get to the Home Screen and are both unresponsive to the remotes and don’t connect to the WiFi
The problem is the update sent down has rendered all my apps useless except Netflix. None of the others will load. Fix the update or roll it back but this 10.5 update had broken too many streamers
I have been fighting with my devices all day. I got 2 hours of playtime. It will show connected for a minute and then drop. I have rebooted my devices and my router and nothing is working. I know my internet is fine because all of my other devices are connecting seamlessly.
My wireless broke after the update yesterday too. Wired works fine, and luckily my router is next to my TV so this was easy. But my upstairs TV requires wifi and that's also broken. Wifi shows a mac address of 00:00:00:00:00. On a PC this means that the PC can't detect the network card or it's not functioning properly. All the resets from the secret menu don't work (press home 5 times followed by up, down, up, down, up). Can't see any wireless networks. It's like the network card is no longer being used, and since this happened overnight on both TVs (different models) this is most definitely due to an update. All other devices working fine over wifi.
ETA: Disconnected the power cable from the TV and upon starting up I could connect to wireless networks again. And surprisingly download speeds are faster on wifi than they are compared to the wired connection.
After 5 hours of rebooting everything and trying everything the last reset of the router has seemed to fix all the issues
This is exactly the scenario for us on a Hisense 55" running Roku. Netflix is the only stream to work, including Xfinity Stream. I have a wired connection to my router. No wifi. This appears to have started after Software update
