When i try to connect to my wifi it will not connect. It shows my signal strength is excellent on the setup page but it just will not connect. This is happening on both of my rokus and it started last week. I have reset my modem multiple times, restarted the roku multiple times. I have even factory reset the roku device and now i cant get passed the wifi set up screen. I have a roku premiere. Please help!!
What model Roku Premiere do you have? The original model (4620/4630) had dual band WiFi, but all later models are 2.4 GHz only.
If your ISP is a cable company, they might have changed a setting in your modem that makes a Roku unusable. On the 2.4 GHz band, there is a mode selector. See if it's set to G/N, and if so change it to B/G/N. If you lease your modem from your ISP, you might not be able to change it yourself, so you'll need to contact their tech support to get it changed.

Thank you so much!
My device only won't connect in my bedroom. I've tried everything. Everything else in my house connects so it's not wh internet's problem. Please help. Roku Express (3930, 3931 series)
Your Roku Express has only single band wifi and works only in the 2.4 GHz wifi band, not the 54 GHz band
There are some wifi router setting issues that can prevent establishing Roku wifi connections in the 2.4 GHz band, and to make matters worse, some of them can be caused by recently-reported router updates. These have primarily been reported with routers supplied by internet providers (Comcast/xfinity, Cox, and AT&T so far), but it's possible they could also occur with other internet providers or user-owned routers that have received similar updates.
If you need to make configuration changes on equipment supplied by your internet provider but you have no access to its settings, you may need to request your internet provider to make the changes for you.
If your problem was not caused by any of the above, often a restart of the router (even if other devices are still connecting) followed by a restart of the Roku will allow the connection to be reestablished. Depending on your Roku model and Roku version number you'll find the "System restart" option under either "Settings > System > Power" or "Settings > System", or if more convenient you can just remove the Roku's power for a few seconds and let it restart.
