Changed Wifis, Roku not connected and won't pair with Remote

When I had my roku unplugged, I changed the wifi in the house. Now when i try to connect the Roku back, it goes straight to Pair remote, and won't pair with the remote. Stuck in a circle, any suggestions?

Re: Changed Wifis, Roku not connected and won't pair with Remote

1) Take the batteries out of the remote.

2) Restart the the Roku (unplug/replug power it if thats your only recourse).

3) As the Roku boots and pairs the remote, insert the batteries and hold the remote right next to the Roku (as in, an inch or two away), and press a button on it (just press, dont hold).

4) If that doesnt work, do the same thing and press the pairing button for 5 seconds on the remote (until it starts flashing), then hold it very close etc.

@astlan11

Have you tried the suggestions on this Roku support page? https://support.roku.com/article/208755708

Particularly under Why is my Roku voice remote not working section 3 Re-pair the remote?

If all of those have failed, you might try a factory reset of the Stick. Press and hold the Reset button for no less than 30 seconds.

Have you powered off the 3810 completely for a few minutes and verified you are using the supplied USB AC adapter?

And since this is a SS+, make sure the AWR (Advanced Wireless Receiver) is fully plugged into the port - disconnect and reconnect it if necessary.

Verify your AWR (short USB cable with the thick antenna in it) is connected properly - disconnect and reconnect it if necessary (at both ends).

Try moving that SS+ to a different location/closer to the new modem /router/gateway and see if it makes any difference

This may be the issue and it's my fault ! During my move I misplaced the antenna and didn't even realize there was one. Is there a way to just buy the antenna wire ?
