I just purchased 3 Roku Express 4K+ devices. Roku 1 would not connect to my wireless network in room 1. Moved it to room 2 and it connected fine. Tried to set up Roku 2 in room 3, would not connect to wireless despite it saying connections were excellent. Tried both 2.4 and 5.1, neither worked. Moved Roku 2 to room 2, set up fine, moved back to room 3 and no longer has a connection to either “excellent” network. Reset my modem and router and Roku 2, no change. I’m not keen to make changes to my modem, plus it works in room 2. I’m stumped why room 1 and room 3 won’t connect. Any suggestions? Do I need to find a different brand?
It's possible that your wireless network connectivity in the other two rooms are not as strong as it is in room 2.
For troubleshooting purposes, have you tried connecting the Roku devices to an alternate wireless network, such as a mobile hotspot, to see if they connect? If they are all able to connect, then it would appear that the issues are not with the Roku devices, but your wireless network.
