Can I turn on the RoKu Smart TV....(please read for full subject)

Hello I Have 32in Philips RoKu TV. I take it with me when I'm on the road as I don't care for most motels viewing options (Cable blah).

Most of the time I have it's remote Is safely packed in it's box, well it appears the remote got out and is running around in the car somewhere or it got left back to make a long story short is it possible to setup a new connection without the remote by just using the Roku app? As there's no actual power button physically on the TV set it self.

Thanks for any and all help.

There's no way to use the app until it's connected to the network and you must have a remote to get through the network setup.

You can still connect!!

RENAME YOUR MOBILE HOTSPOT TO THE LAST KNOWN NETWORK YOU CONNECTED TO

SET THE MOBILE HOTSPOT PASSWORD AS THE SAME PASSWORD TOO

MINE CONNECTED INSTANTLY!!!

USE A SECOND PHONE WITH ROKU APP INSTALLED AND CONNECT TO SAME MOBILE HOTSPOT. NOW YOU CAN CHANGE THE NETWORK OR USE THE REMOTE

YAAAAAAAY!
