I have 3 Roku sticks that suddenly won’t connect to the network at the same exact time. I’ve been using these regularly without significant issue for a couple years. My two Roku smart TVs are working just fine but not the sticks.
I have followed all the trouble shooting tips I have found without success. The network is showing up with excellent signal. I have restarted the router and devices countless times, ensured I’m using the correct case sensitive password and even factory reset one of the devices. I’m not using up any bandwidth with other devices as I’m trying to connect.
None of the help articles seem to address an issue such as this. Any help would be much appreciated!!
If you have a router from Comcast/Xfinity or Cox change the Wi-Fi wireless mode to b/g/n from g/n. Xfinity has an app to manage their router. I don't know about Cox, but you should be able to log into and make the change.
I have two Roku Express devices, and neither will connect to WiFi. It started a few days ago, and I’ve rebooted WiFi and devices multiple times, leaving up to 15 minutes before reconnecting.
Apparently, these devices are not supported by customer service, and one of them is only 2 years old! Total BS that you can’t get help from a company after purchasing 2 devices and an expensive Soundbar!!
I guess the only answer is to quit using Roku products! I will no longer recommend to ANYONE!
