This is a major problem with all smart device mfgs and the industry as a whole. Ever mfg forces the consumer to only use their Smart devices. Not so "Smart" really. If the companies provide a good product and software that's compatible with smart devices from other mfgs, more consumers would migrate toward those mfgs. Being forced to revamp a whole security system.(i.e. wifi cams, hard wired cams, and other smart devices isn't cost effective for the consumer. I upgrade my equipment often and have at least 3 different mfgs of smart devices. It'd be nice if Roku would step up.and find a solution. Just a suggestion.
