stop my roku remote from controlling my AVR

I have a roku 4802x connected to a sumsung un46c6400rf tv.  The tv is connected to a Yamaha rx-v473 via an optical cable for my surround.  This setup worked fine for a long time, but for some reason, my roku remote has started changing the audio input on the yamaha whenever we hit the home or power buttons on the roku remote.  Chat support tells me it's an issue with my tv and I need to contact samsung, because the remote supposedly does not control the yamaha.  I've tried switching to CEC setup and turning off 1-touch play.  Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
