remote for brit box using right arrow wont move right

Remote 4802x ultra on brit box only wont slide right when using right arrow, it moves down. I pared remote didnt help. Was working correct for months till yesterday. Still works correct on other steaming apps. Called Brit box they suggested turning off box and on and remove app and put app back on. Didnt work. Is removing app same as unistalling? How to fix. hahahah HELP

After you remove an app make sure you perform a System restart found under Settings->System->Power before you add it again.  It's the restart that clears out any data the app has saved.  After you add it again, if it still doesn't work try the mobile app as a remote to see if that works.  If it does, it may be a remote issue, although it would be strange that it would only occur on one app.
