rc-el1 remote + 3810x stick = compatible???

Jump to solution

I've misplaced my old roku and found a rc-el1 remote & 3810x streaming stick.  I can't seem to connect these two.  The volume & power work on remote, but won't move to the different apps and settings.

Are these two pieces of equipment compatible?   Can't find a compatibility chart for this.

They are, but not directly, no remote communicates with 3810 stick+ itself, remotes and internet communicate with long-range wireless receiver built into the usb cable. It has to have the original usb cable with bump in it, looks like this:

USB Power Cable with Long-range Wi-Fi® Receiver | Roku
