iPhone videos playing sideways on Roku Media Player. Can video be rotated?

Jump to solution

Trying to use Roku Media Player to view video files stored on NAS. Videos taken with iPhone are all playing sideways. Is there a way to rotate the image during playback?

Re: iPhone videos playing sideways on Roku Media Player. Can video be rotated?

Hi @JLockry,

Welcome, and thanks for the inquiry.

The Roku media player does not offer a setting to rotate video content while playing from a NAS (Network Attached Storage) device. While you can connect to a NAS and play videos, the Roku player doesn't have the functionality to rotate the image if the video file is upside down or rotated.

Hope this info helps! Just let us know if you have any questions.

Cheers,
