iPad to Roku streaming with TV connected to a Sky Box

Jump to solution

Hello. My partner's TV is connected to a Sky Box. I connect my iPad to the TV with an HDMI cable and lightning adapter. I'd like to connect wirelessly. If I buy and connect a Roku device to the TV, can I stream to it from my iPad AND keep the Sky Box connected to the TV?

Thank you.

Hi @Onebag,

Greetings from the Roku Community!

We will be more than pleased to help. You may stream, control, and share content to your compatible Roku streaming device from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac with Apple AirPlay. So please be aware of that. You can listen to popular music, view TV series, movies, and family videos, or look through pictures from past vacations. Even better, you can enjoy the big-screen experience from the comfort of your couch by mirroring precisely what you see on your Apple device. Additionally, you are free to keep the skybox that is hooked in at the back of your TV.

Please keep us posted if you need anything else.

Best regards,                                                                                                                                      John
