I have two separate roku's and one account. When I use the remote in my living room, it controls the roku in my office. How do I get them to work separately?
There's no way to get a simple remote to control only one Roku device. If light from the remote can reach a Roku device whether in a straight line or reflecting off a surface then the Roku will respond. If you want a remote that can only control one Roku at a time you can pair voice remotes with each Roku.
We need more information. Is it a simple remote (with no TV controls) or a voice remote? Is there a clear line of sight from your office to your living room?
Both remotes are Roku simple remotes and there is no line of sight - they are two separate rooms and the rokus are about 20-25 feet from each other.
