Hi! @Peaches080808,

A warm welcome from the Roku Community. Let's get started!

  • What device are you using right now?
  • Is this the first time you set up/activated this Roku TV/device?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far to resolve the issue?

The purple light on a Roku device indicates that the device is in the process of updating its software or that it is booting up.

If the purple light is on for an extended period (more than 15 minutes), try unplugging the Roku device from its power source and plugging it back in.

Thanks,

Arjiemar
