@Babs67 If you have only had it a year, I would suggest attempting to contact Roku and see if you can get it replaced under warranty.
This remote is so annoying. Yet again I'm having trouble charging it. I alternate between two different connector chargers whatever. I plugged it in for over 5 minutes and it didn't change the battery level. It's so annoyingly weird. I had to change connectors. It's alright now. But I don't know for how long.
