Unable to screen mirror Ladder App from iPhone to Roku

Hi there, bought a new tv and trying to screen mirror the Ladder App from iPhone to the tv. Now this works on the other tv but not the Roku tv.. can hear sound but the screen only shows the mirror options on the iPhone
We can screen mirror lots of other video content but just not this app.  It’s on the same wifi, we’ve tried though Apple TV also. What am I doing wrong? We bought the tv specifically to watch this app on a tv in our home gym.

Re: Unable to screen mirror Ladder App from iPhone to Roku

Hi, @Tash_H.

Welcome, and thanks for posting here in the Roku Community!

We understand that you're currently having an issue with screen mirroring the Ladder App from your iPhone to your Roku, and we'd like to take a closer look at the situation.

For better visibility as to how things are going, we need additional information from it:

  • When did this issue first occur?
  • Have you tried other mobile phone, tablet, or computer devices? Then, Screen mirror your phone to your Roku and play the specific App you're having issues with.
  • Has this feature worked with your Ladder app on your other Roku devices?
  • What Roku device/TV are you having an issue with?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

In the meantime, try performing a software update to your Roku by navigating to Settings > System > Software Update > Check Now. Let us see if it makes any difference.
For more troubleshooting steps, please visit this support article: How to use AirPlay and HomeKit with your Roku streaming device

Keep us posted along with all the information provided above, and we will help you from there.

All the best,
Emman
