TCL55r617 Video Streaming Issue?

Hi, I have a TCL55r617 TV which is a Roku Smart TV.

I am trying to play a video file using Roku Media Player from a DLNA server.

The file plays and I get audio, with no video. The file plays fine on other devices.

The file is direct-playing. It is an mkv, , and has these attributes:

Video
Title: 1080p H264 SDR
Codec: H264
AVC: Yes
Resolution: 1920x1080
Aspect ratio: 16:9
Interlaced: No
Framerate: 30
Bitrate: 1339 kbps
Bit depth: 8 bit
Video range: SDR
Video range type: SDR
Pixel format: yuv420p
Ref frames: 1
NAL: 4

...as far as I can tell that is all within the player's specs....anyone have any insight as to why it won't play?

Can you try putting the video on a flash drive and seeing if it will play from that to take the DLNA server out of the equation?

Hi - Sorry @renojim, took me a bit to conduct the test: I get the same result.

Specifically: When using Roku Media Player to play the file from a USB plugged into the TV, I get the same black screen with working audio,

I guess I'm not too surprised.  I don't see anything obviously wrong with the details of the video.  Do other files play ok?  Sometimes a "System restart" from Settings->System->Power can clear up weird problems (simply turning the TV off and on isn't the same thing).  I'd probably re-encode the file or repackage it into an MP4 and not try to fight Roku issues.
