Yesterday I posted something when a Roku Live channel would start, run a commercial then freeze in the same place over and over like in Groundhog's Day. I started looking into it and kept getting the message everything was up to date, but it wasn't.  Finally, I found and followed every piece of advice on updating the system, checking it, restarting every single part individually and together. It turns out this is a known issue for Roku TCL tv's and it did need fixing despite the message it kept sending. After an hour of updating it in every way I could find, it still wasn't better. But 2 hours later it was magically back to normal.
