Roku remote turning off projector but not AVR

Hello. I am setting up a media room with a Epson 12000 projector, Denon AVR-X1700H and a Roku Ultra. As it sits now when I press any button on the Roku the projector turns on which powers on the AVR as well. When I turn the Roku off the projector turns off but not the AVR. Is there a way to program the Roku remote wether its over IR or CEC to turn the AVR off as well?
