I’m having issues with my Roku Express 4K+ (3941X2) randomly pausing playback every couple of seconds. It started yesterday after about 1 month of use.
What I noticed was that the issue stopped when I took the batteries out of the remote, which leads me to think it is possibly an issue with the remote.
Any known solution to this?

Could you try unplugging the Wi-Fi router from the wall outlet and waiting for a couple of minutes before plugging it back in? After that, please let me know if the issue persists.
