My device is over heating. I have to shut it off to cool it down. I get to watch for about 1/2 hour then have to shut it down. Is anyone else having this problem?

My TCL (Roku) 32" TV just gave me a overheat warning. I looked up the fixes and saw what to do. However, it was not a fix for the overheating issue, I have 2 other TCL (Roku) TV's can I expect the same issue with them? Should I leave them unplugged when not in use? Are the TV's even safe once this occurs? Thank you
