Roku 3910x remotes not responding

I cant get any of my various roku remotes to connect to my roku 3910x.  It shows the roku setup menu on  the tv screen but I cant get it to do anything.  There is also a blinking white light in the right hand corner of the device which I understand means theres a problem connecting to the internet.  I cant connect it because it wont respond to the remotes.  Tried hard reset. Tried changing the power cord and usb cord.  tried connecting to a different TV but with the same results.  Tried changing batteries as well. What can I do?

Re: Roku 3910x remotes not responding

Roku remotes use WiFi direct..have you tried using a network app like WiFi Analyzer for Android or something similar for iPhone? I ask since channel congestion is the #1 connectivity issue. Once installed, open the app and take note of how many others use the same channel/band, then log into the router, disable the 'auto' feature for channels, and select one with less congestion. Not guaranteed to work for this particular issue but its likely to improve otherwise
