You can disable the 2FA in your online dashboard at https://www.roku.com/. Under the Account Information, there is a "2-step verification" setting that can be toggled to preference. (affects both the Roku account and the forum).
As for the 25 character requirement, that was an attempt to thwart spammers. (surpisingly, the spammers figured out how to just hold down a key on the keyboard - go figure. 🙄).
Re: the 'Remember Me'. It will only remember you until you clear the cache of your browser. (some browsers may clear cache each time you close/exit browser depending on settings). I clear my cache manually each time I close my browser so not sure if the 'Remember Me' is broken and failing to store a cookie/set to expire or if it may be something on your end in your browser settings.
