Is there a Roku device that my wife and I can use with the hotel TV's when we travel? We have 3 Roku devices at home but want one to use for travel/hotel.
All of the roku devices are meant to be portable. Just bring the device, the HDMI cable and the Roku remote with you.
I travel with my Roku Premiere+ (3941).
For the most convenient/smallest travel package, though, the Streaming Stick models would be the most recommended choice. https://www.roku.com/products/players
As with all the Roku devices and traveling, the most important part to remember to pack is the physical Roku Remote. (will need this to connect to an alternate network and control the device). Additionally, most hotels will have some network protocols in place that will inhibit the use of the Roku Mobile app if you are accustomed to using this as a remote, so remembering the physical remote is a must.
i have never needed to use the 'hotel/dorm connect' feature when using the Premiere model on the road, but some hotels will require you to sign in to a portal before using devices like the Roku so a laptop or cell phone/tablet may also be required. https://support.roku.com/article/215058118
Thanks for the fast answer and response. I appreciate it..
I want to emphasize a point in the Roku Hotel/Dorm file referenced above that some overlook
In order to connect in Hotel/Dorm mode, your Roku must ALREADY be set up with a link to your Roku account. The easiest way to do this is to set it up before you leave home.
In a pinch you can link to your Roku account in the field by using the wifi hotspot on a phone to connect to the Internet for your Roku's initial setup.
Your help is appreciated

Last year summer time, I bought the Roku Streaming Stick 4K adding it to my Roku account since I was vacationing in Orlando for over a week and wanted Roku on the TV and not on my laptop. Went to Best Buy while it was on sale prior to leaving.
Retailed for $45 at the time, bought it for $40. 4K Stick is with Dolby Vision & HDR. The Plus is HDR, non-Dolby Vision.
No regrets, very happy with it's performance and did not heat up like other comparable streaming stick products after having it playing for 5-6 hours continuously.
We have 3 TV's with a Roku on each one. Just bought a streaming stick plus for traveling. I know I must set it up on my existing account first. Can this be done with the existing Roku hooked up to a TV?
Yes, you can have multiple streaming devices operating on the same tv. (some users use different manufacturers of streaming devices to have options while streaming).
Just switch over to the correct HDMI input of the Streaming Stick when you set it up. Would recommend you at least unplug the power of the Roku device currently plugged into the TV though as sometimes the pairing process/setup of the Roku remote can get confused when another Roku device is nearby.
If you want all your Roku devices linked (sharing apps), then make sure to use the same email address as your other Roku devices when setting the new one up.
