Pairing premiere infrared remote to on/off on SONY Bravia kdl-40v2500

Jump to solution

The Roku pairing instructions don't seem to apply to this older TV, which does not have internal settings for pairing. However, I've easily paired other remotes (TiVo, Comcast, Uverse) by inputting SONY TV codes into the remotes themselves. Is there no way to pair these 2 devices to simply turn the TV on or off?

Sorry but no. Only wifi roku remotes have tv controls. An IR Roku remote doesn't tv power & volume keys.

you purchase separately wifi voice roku remote that you can pair to your premiere, and then program it for your sony tv.
